To alleviate the Suffering of Oncology Patients, Al-Noamany Follows up the Final Preparations for Installing the Gamma Camera Device in the Oncology Department at the Old Sohag University Hospital
Dr. Hassan Al-Noamani, President of Sohag University, inspected the final preparations for installing the new gamma camera device, in the Nuclear Medicine Unit in the Oncology Department of the Old University Hospital, accompanied by Dr. Magdy El-Kady, Dean of Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the University Hospitals Board of Directors, and Dr. Sayed Mostafa, Head of Oncology Department.
Al-Noamani stressed that in implementation of the directives of the political leadership to provide therapeutic and medical services to patients at a high level of quality in the governorates of Upper Egypt, the university administration is constantly keen to provide the various departments with the latest medical devices and supplies to continue providing distinguished medical service to those who visits it, to cope with the presence of a distinguished elite of the best consultants and specialists in various medical specialties, explaining that gamma camera imaging is a type of radioisotope imaging, which gives greater credibility and efficiency in diagnosing tumors, at a cost of 11 million pounds.
