The prize ceremonies take place annually at the end of the International Conference on Pure and Applied Sciences. Each recipient, or laureate, receives a medal, certificate and a sum of money that has been decided by NSP, 2000 US $. The NSP Prize is regarded as a prestigious award available in the fields of Pure and Applied Sciences as well as Social Sciences.
