Prof. Hassan Al-Nomani, President of Sohag University, inaugurated the activities of the third scientific conference of the Department of Tropical Medicine and Gastroenterology at the University Hospital, in the presence of Prof. Magdy Al-Qadi, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the Board of Directors of University Hospitals, Prof. Khairy Hammam, Head of the Department of Tropical Regions and Chairman of the Conference, Prof. Sami Al-Najjar, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health in Sohag, Prof. Hamdi Saad, Executive Director of University Hospitals, Dr. Ghada Mustafa, founder of the department, and a number of professors and young researchers and doctors, in the glass hall of the old campus.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Al-Nomani stressed that the Egyptian state under the leadership of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi sought to comprehensively develop the health sector, explaining that the university\u2019s medical system has witnessed a great development with the aim of providing high-quality treatment services to patients in the governorate and neighboring governorates of Upper Egypt, explaining that the Specialized Surgery Hospital and the Children\u2019s Healing Hospital are being completed, President Sisi\u2019s gift, whose assets have been transferred to the university, and the establishment of a burn hospital, which is the first in Upper Egypt, in addition to the new university hospital, which President Sisi inaugurated in January. The past and the completion of the building of the Faculty of Dentistry by 91%, to complete the medical system in the governorate to serve millions of patients in Upper Egypt.<\/strong><\/p>\n
