Today, Wednesday, corresponding to 21\/2\/2024, Al-Kawthar Secondary School made a visit to the Faculty of Human Medicine. Dr. Shazly Saleh Mousi, the Dean of the College for Community Service and Environmental Development, welcomed the students and supervisors of the school, wishing them success and benefit from what will be presented and seen. Commemorative photos were taken with them, wishing them success in their academic and practical life.<\/p>\n

The administrations of Community Service, Environmental Development, and Public Relations took them on a tour inside the corridors and departments of the college (Anatomy – Public Health – Forensic Medicine – Museum – Library). This was accompanied by an awareness seminar conducted by both: Dr. Basma Abu Al-Futuh Mahmoud, an assistant in the Department of Biochemistry, and Dr. Rahma Ibrahim Mahmoud, an assistant professor in the Department of Public Health and Community Medicine.<\/p>\n

Dr. Basma spoke about the study system at the college and its years, the subjects taught in it and their names, and the different parts of the human body and its organs. Then Dr. Rahma spoke about the correct ways to wash hands by applying the 10 correct steps, limiting the spread of diseases and ways to prevent them. In the Department of Forensic Medicine, she spoke about the different types of samples in the department, gunshot and how to identify the time it was fired, and different types of wounds.<\/p>\n

In the college library, Ms. Iman, the library director, received the students and spoke about the types of books and folders and how students can borrow them, wishing them success and joining the Faculty of Medicine. At the end of the tour, the students expressed their happiness and benefit from this visit, wishing to repeat it again. The school supervisors thanked the accompanying gentlemen and commemorative photos were taken.<\/p>\n
