Al-Da’wah Al-Islamiyah Girls’ School in Sohag visited the College of Medicine today, Wednesday, corresponding to 20/12/2023. The school was received by Prof. Dr. Magdy Amin Al-Qadi, Dean of the College of Human Medicine, and Prof. Dr. Shazly Saleh Mousa, Vice Dean of the College for Community Service and Environmental Development. Dr. Magdy welcomed them, wishing them success in their academic and practical lives and benefiting from what will be presented to them. Dr. Shazly also welcomed them, motivating and encouraging them to reach the highest levels to ascend the ranks of the College of Medicine. Commemorative photos were taken. Then, the community service affairs and public relations administrations took them on a tour inside the corridors and departments of the college (Chemistry – Anatomy – Forensic Medicine – Museum – Public Health – Laboratories). The school was accompanied by:
- Ms. Mariam Mohamed Ahmed, a teaching assistant in the Public Health Department
- Ahmed Faisal Ahmed and Mohamed Ashraf Mahmoud, fourth-year students at the college During the tour, they were introduced to:
- The subjects taught at the college
- Different parts of the human body and its various organs
- The difference between forensic medicine and clinical poisons
- Different types of wounds
- Abortion cases In an awareness seminar, Prof. Dr. Mouni, a professor in the Speech Unit, spoke about:
- Bullying – Language – Speech – Stuttering – Hearing impaired – Khunf At the end, the school’s supervisors and students thanked the accompanying gentlemen, expressing their gratitude and benefit from the explanation presented to them. Finally, commemorative photos were taken
