“Scientific research : from research idea to publication “
Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Hassan Al-Nomani, President of the University, Prof. Dr. Magdy Amin Al-Qadi, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, and Prof. Dr. Al-Shazly Saleh, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Medicine for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ashraf Al-Badry Center for Experimental Surgery held a training workshop for researchers from the faculty members and the supporting staff under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Eman Al-Sayed Abu Deif, Chairman of the Center’s Board of Directors. Forty trainee researchers from the faculty and supporting staff attended.
The workshop included four sessions:-
The first session entitled:
“Writing proposal with special concern on the research question”
The training was conducted by Dr. Ibrahim Mahmoud Al-Badry, Internal Medicine lecturer and member of the center’s board of directors.
The second session entitled:
“ Research methods with special concern to sample size calculation “
The training was conducted by Dr. Ahmed Rushdi Al-Ajmi, lecturer of Natural Medicine and Rheumatology.
The third session is entitled:
“ The art of writing a scientific article “
The training was conducted by Dr. Imad Ali Othman, Assistant Professor of General Surgery.
The fourth session is entitled:
“ Publishing in an international high ranked journal”
The training was conducted by Professor Dr. Ramadan Saleh, Professor of Dermatology, Venereology and Andrology.
