First: Educational Services

  • Providing a quiet and well-equipped space for students, researchers, and faculty members to access the latest scientific references.
  • Offering printed and electronic versions of exams for various academic levels.
  • Providing postgraduate exam papers for researchers and faculty members in both printed and electronic formats.
  • Supplying electronic books and references to visitors through searches in global databases and the Egyptian Knowledge Bank (EKB).
  • Conducting current awareness updates about new additions to the library (books, exams, theses) via the library’s webpage.
  • Making multiple copies of foreign books available in the student library to facilitate borrowing.
  • Conducting surveys among students to identify strengths and weaknesses in library services.

Second: Research Services

  • Offering electronic search services for library holdings and other university libraries through the Egyptian Universities Libraries Consortium (EULC) website.
  • Providing access to scientific research websites and resources via the Egyptian Knowledge Bank (EKB) and other global databases.
  • Facilitating access to previous scientific research and theses while respecting intellectual property rights.
  • Explaining how to search global databases and access international theses.
  • Creating accounts on the Egyptian Knowledge Bank (EKB) for students, researchers, and faculty members, and guiding them on how to use it.
  • Offering educational courses for researchers on the latest technical tools used in scientific research, such as the EndNote reference management software.
  • Organizing workshops for faculty members and their assistants in college departments on how to use the Egyptian Knowledge Bank.
  • Participating in preparing training courses for faculty members and their assistants on how to publish their research in the Faculty of Medicine journal.

Third: Community Services

  • Training students from the Faculty of Arts, Department of Documentation and Libraries, on how to use the Egyptian Universities Libraries Consortium (EULC) website.
  • Training staff from other college libraries as technical support team members on how to use the EULC website.
  • Contributing to the establishment of the university’s central library.
  • Organizing workshops for various faculties on how to benefit from the Egyptian Knowledge Bank.
