
Al-Noamani Receives a number of Successful Cases after they Performed Cochlear Implant Operations at Sohag University Hospitals
Prof. Hassan Al-Noamani, President of Sohag University, received a number of models for whom Sohag University Hospitals succeeded in restoring full hearing and speech, after undergoing a cochlear implant procedure.
These models included children aged 12, 8, and 5, a female student at the university’s Faculty of Arts, and a student at the Faculty of Dentistry, in the presence of prof. Magdy Al-Qadi, Dean of the faculty of Medicine, prof. Mohamed Abdel Qader, chairman of the Ear, Nose, and Throat Department at the faculty of Medicine, and Dr. Ahlam Abdel Salam, Head of the Speech Language Unit at the University Hospital.
Al-Nomani said that Ear, Nose and Throat Department achieved a remarkable achievement in implementing the directives of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, to end waiting lists, as cochlear implant operations were completed by 100%, and the Cochlear Implant Unit performed more than 700 operations for a number of children from the governorates of Egypt ,offering his thanks to all staff in the Ear, Nose and Throat Department for their efforts during the last period, and their success in performing this number of operations and providing therapeutic services at a high level of quality.
