Dr. Hassan Al-Noamani, President of Sohag University, met with Engineer Mohamed Abdullah, Head of the New Sohag City Authority, to hand over the land for the burns hospital project, which President Sisi issued a decision to establish an area of 10,000 square meters to complement the therapeutic system of university hospitals, in the presence of Ashraf El-Kady. The Secretary General of the University, Engineer Ahmed Khaled, Engineer Wafa Abdullah, Deputy Heads of the Agency, Brigadier General Jamal Tarkhan, Director of Security of the Agency, and a number of project officials.
Dr. Hassan Al-Nomani thanked President Sisi for his decision to allocate an area of 10,000 square meters to establish a hospital specialized in treating burns next to the Emergency and Trauma Hospital in New Sohag City, to be the first of its kind in Upper Egypt, to provide its therapeutic services in an exemplary manner and with the latest medical devices and equipment.
Al-Nomani said that during the meeting, broad outlines were discussed to realize the dream of establishing a burns hospital, indicating that a committee will be formed that will work as quickly as possible to achieve achievement on the ground, which will support the health and educational service of Sohag university hospitals in accordance with Egyptian codes that match international codes.
He extended his thanks to Engineer Muhammad Abdullah for his serious and fruitful cooperation in establishing this project, which will be a medical edifice and a new achievement added to the health sector in the governorates of Upper Egypt, which has witnessed an unprecedented boom over the past years.
