Dr. Hassan El-Nomany, President of Sohag University, inaugurated the latest operating room in the Hand Surgery and Microsurgery Unit at the University Hospital, at a cost of 10 million pounds. He was accompanied by Dr. Magdy Amin El-Qadi, Dean of Faculty of Medicine, Dr. Ahmed Kamal, Executive Director of University Hospitals, Dr. Ahmed Saleh, Head of the Orthopedics Department, Dr. Yasser Othman, Director of the Unit, and a number of faculty members and hospital directors.
Dr. Hassan Al-Nomany said that this room is the most modern operation room in Upper Egypt, and is a qualitative leap in the field of health care, as it contributes to improving the medical services provided to patients, and supporting the medical staff in the unit to perform precise operations using the latest technological means.
Stressing that the university always seeks to develop the infrastructure of the university hospitals in line with international standards, within the framework of an integrated plan to provide distinguished health services that serve the local and regional community.
