Sohag University Hospitals are Ready to receive Emergency Patients during the Eid Al-Adha holiday.

Prof. Hassan Al-Noamani, President of Sohag University, announced that the readiness within the various departments of university hospitals has been raised to receive emergency cases from citizens during the days of Eid Al-Adha.
Dr. Hassan Al-Numani said that university hospitals have taken a number of measures to ensure the availability of all medical supplies and the availability of medical staff 24 hours a day. The heads of clinical departments have been instructed to adhere to the presence of medical teams while developing an emergency plan to bring in more medical team members if necessary.
Al-Numani added that to improve the provision of health services to citizens and to receive emergencies and accidents during Eid holiday, the number of intermediate care beds in the general internal medicine department was increased by 10 beds and the necessary nursing care was provided for operation.
The number of beds for patients was also increased to contain any expected increases to reach the capacity. 321 beds, including 86 intensive care beds and 32 dialysis chairs, confirming the full readiness of university hospitals to provide technical support to all hospitals in the governorate, in light of the cooperation protocol signed with the Health Directorate and the Health Insurance Authority in the governorate.
