Prof. Hassan Al-Noamany, President of Sohag University, continued his follow-up to the latest developments in the Specialized Surgical Hospital building for “heart, chest, brain, and nerve surgeries” inside the old university hospital, in preparation for its operation during the next few months.
He was accompanied by Prof. Magdy Amin Al-Qadi, Dean of Faculty of Medicine, and Dr. Khaled Abdel-Al ,the Executive Director of University Hospitals, Major General Tariq Hafez, Director of University Security, and a number of project officials.
During his follow-up, Dr. Hassan Al-Numani inspected the area surrounding the Specialized Surgical Hospital, in which green gardens will be implemented to support the hospital environment inside the hospital.
A number of old, dilapidated buildings in the courtyard of the hospital that are destined to fall were demolished to provide that green space and expand the courtyard in front of the building.
Al-Numani said that this green space will be designed on an area of 3.000 square meters, stressing its importance because of its positive effects on patients in promoting recovery and healing, and also positive effects on doctors and employees.
