Dr. Hassan Al-Noamany, equipment and furnishings for the Specialized Surgical Hospital building
(Heart, chest, brain, and nerves), which was constructed inside the old university hospital headquarters in preparation for its operation, in the presence of Dr. Magdy Al-Qadi, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Dr. Ahmed Kamal, Executive Director of University Hospitals, Dr. Amr Mostafa Al-Sherif, Deputy Director of the Hospital, and Major General Tariq Hafez, Director of University Security during his tour, Al-Noamany directed that the equipment and furnishings of the Specialized Surgery Hospital building completed and furnished in preparation for its opening and operation as soon as possible, in order to provide the best means of health care and distinguished medical services to the people of Sohag Governorate and the neighboring governorates of Upper Egypt.,pointing out that the hospital was built architecturally with the highest level of precision to comply with international quality standards, which comes within the state’s plan to develop Sohag university hospitals at a total cost of 600 million pounds, in order to improve the medical services provided to the people of the governorate.
Al-Nomany added that a clinic has been designated for people with special needs in the hospital, to provide medical services to them on a daily basis, which is considered the first specialized clinic in Upper Egypt for people with special needs.
