Facility tasks:
- The unit provides all types of pure breeds of small experimental animals for researchers, male and female graduate students, by renewing generations, multiplying them, and providing them with health care.
- Providing advice and medical advice to researchers on everything related to experimental animals.
- Develop policies and implement laws and ethics for the use and care of laboratory animals, in accordance with local and international regulations and laws regarding the use and handling of laboratory animals.
- Participation and coordination in training courses conducted on animals. The unit provides surgical and preparatory capabilities, anesthesia, and post-operative care.
