The establishment of the center:
The idea of establishing the center arose in 2015 when the late Professor Dr. Ashraf El-Badry presented a capacity-building project (22900) for the Science and Technological Development Fund of the Academy of Scientific Research.
Under the name “Lab of Pancreas, Bile Ducts and Experimental Liver Transplant Surgery” at the Faculty of Medicine – Sohag University, the project was acquired in 2018 and completed and operated in 2024.
