The journal provides a publishing chance for research articles, reviews, short communication, case series, and guidelines updates. We aim to promote medical research in Sohag University and we also aim to have a medical education devoted supplement with each issue to raise awareness of importance of educational research among medical educators in Egypt. Sohag Medical Journal – the official journal of Sohag Faculty of Medicine, Sohag University, is a peer-reviewed journal with tertiary print on demand compilation of issues published. The journal’s full text in recent & previous issues are available online at: Here Sohag Medical Journal started since 1997 and continuing till now, till the end of 2016, it was published twice a year in January and July, plus Supplementary issues including the researches presented in the Annual conferences of Sohag Faculty of Medicine, by 2017 is published three times a year in January, July and October. The journal will cover technical, experimental and clinical studies related to health, ethical and social issues in all fields of Medicine & its related basic & advanced sciences & that performed to search & promote human health. Aiming to provide Students, researchers, physicians and other healthcare professionals with new discoveries that improve patient care in all aspects of health.

Job Description:
- Supervising all journal-related activities.
- Daily follow-up on all research-related operational tasks.
- Overseeing coordination with research submitters.
- Executing all tasks assigned to the journal and delivering it to the printing press.
- Preparing the journal twice a year.
Position: Editor-in-Chief
Job Description:
Responsible for supervising all administrative, financial, academic, and technical aspects of the journal.
Position: Editorial Secretary
Job Description:
Responsible for supervising all academic and technical aspects of the journal, assisting in monitoring scientific and technical matters, and selecting research reviewers.
Position: Journal Administrative Team
Job Description:
- Administrative Secretary
- Typing Specialist – A skilled typist familiar with computer programs related to text formatting and layout. All team members are faculty staff.
– The administrative secretary assists in organizing and coordinating administrative and financial activities under the supervision of the Editor-in-Chief.
– The layout executor is responsible for printing and binding the journal at the printing press.
