Prof. Hassan Al-Noamani, President of Sohag University, received a detailed report from Dr. Magdy El-Kady, Dean of Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the Board of Directors of University Hospitals, which included statistics on the number of medical cases that were received and treated, as well as emergency operations during the past 4 days, starting from Arafat day until the fourth day of Eid Al-Adha, as part of the continuous follow-up in providing free treatment services to all patients from various centers in Sohag Governorate and neighboring governorates, throughout the Eid holiday period, in order to reduce waiting lists and provide the necessary care for critical care patients.
Dr. Hassan Al-Numani stated that 1,373 medical cases were received and 77 major surgical operations were performed in the university hospitals in its old and new campuses during the Eid holiday, stressing that all medical cases will be received in university hospitals, which possess unique financial and human capabilities, making them a safe haven for treating thousands of citizens of all categories. And their different ages during their journey to search for a distinguished and free treatment opportunity.
Dr. Magdy Al-Qadi confirmed that, in implementation of the directives of Dr. Hassan Al-Namani, President of the University, Sohag University Hospitals are fully prepared and ready to receive any emergency cases around the clock, throughout the Eid holiday, whether for clinical treatment or to perform surgical interventions in various specialties.
