Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs |
Since the Faculty of Medicine in Sohag was established in 1991, and for over two
decades, it has played its role in the educational process, paying great attention to its students. The Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs is considered the cornerstone that safeguards students’ interests and maintains the educational and supervisory role of the learning process. The student is the primary targeted outcome through which the faculty provides distinguished service to society.
Development in various aspects of life amid contemporary challenges is an essential requirement at this stage to advance our beloved Egypt.
One of the most important goals of our faculty has been to ensure that students achieve learning outcomes that rival what they could obtain outside the college walls. This has been accomplished through excellent performance by the different departments, delivering information through diverse and modern methods, and providing suitable lecture halls equipped with advanced presentation tools that assist faculty members in effectively conveying knowledge. Additionally, significant progress has been made in digital transformation within the faculty, starting from course materials uploaded on the “Zad” platform to students taking exams electronically.
The faculty has obtained academic accreditation from the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation for the second consecutive time. With God’s will, we will strive to maintain this excellence and preserve what we have achieved, thanks to the wise leadership of the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Magdy Amin, and the continuous guidance and support of Prof. Mostafa Abdel Khalek, President of the University, who has made achieving this goal one of the university’s strategic objectives.
May God grant us success.
